Have you ever gotten busy cleaning your house, just to be stopped in the middle Because you ran out of a cleaner? I definitely feel you, because I have been there before, and at times it can be very frustrating!
You where cleaning and everything was running smoothly, you where probably making good time too, up until you ran out. But don’t worry there is almost always a way to make your own cleaner, without having to go to the Store. And yes it is nice to buy cleaners, and not have to make them all the time,
but you have to have cleaners to clean. And it can be fun too!
Cleaning is so much easier when you have the right cleaners on hand and some paper towels, and yes sometimes cleaning can use up a lot of them but, for me, it is well worth it. I can always get the cleaning done faster when I have some paper towels. This wood polish recipe works well on wood furniture. It also works well on wood floors, if your wood floor is getting dry, just lightly mist the floor and mop as usual. It has the right combination of oil that it leaves your wood floor looking nice, without leaving a greasy film.
One of the best parts about making your own cleaners, is that you can scent it how ever you want, with what ever essential oil you want, and even do some experimenting on a combination of scents! Some like a stronger scent, and others like it to be more lightly scented, but the choice is yours, because there is no right or wrong way to do it!
A little Tip: If you have an extra dirty area you are dusting, then add a few drops of lemon essential oil to your spray for a natural disinfectant in your cleaner.
I put together the recipe below, I hope you enjoy! I would love to here from you in the comments too!
